Alan Alegado, CFA is a member of Barings’ Private Placements & Asset Based Finance group. Alan is a portfolio manager and trader for residential asset based finance and is responsible for the development and implementation of MBS portfolio strategies. Alan has worked in the industry since 2011. Prior to joining Barings in 2017, Alan was a portfolio manager at E*TRADE Financial Corporation where he focused on agency MBS and traded specified pools/CMOs for the bank securities portfolio. Alan holds a B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Alan is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
