Maryland Terrapin Fund

DESCRIPTION

The Terrapin Fund (the "Fund") is a $50 million program that invests in businesses and projects that support core infrastructure sectors of the Maryland economy—including, but not limited to, digital infrastructure, energy & power, transportation, and circular economy—to grow the Maryland economy and foster the next generation of private market infrastructure opportunities in the state of Maryland. The Fund will prioritize opportunities to invest directly in private market sponsor funds or in infrastructure projects with headquarters, operations, or a bona fide plan to operate in Maryland.

The Fund is sponsored by the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System and is managed by Barings.
