Tamara Williams
Senior Director, Private Equity Real Estate
Tamara Williams is a member of Barings’ Real Estate Team, responsible for the business’ ESG initiatives, ensuring that ESG is embedded across the business and adopted by all staff in their day-to-day operations. She is also responsible for ensuring that the ESG-related requirements from Barings’ investors and stakeholders are met across the real estate portfolio.
Tamara has worked in the industry for over 25 years and has experience in real estate finance, investment banking, funds management and responsible investing. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, she worked for APN Funds Management / Dexus as a senior funds management executive and Investec Bank as joint head of Property Funds Management Australia. Before that she was a director at Westpac Institutional Bank within the property funds management team.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and was qualified as a CA. She is member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
