Matthieu Lefort

Matthieu Lefort is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Matthieu works within the European Real Estate Debt origination team, assisting in the underwriting and due diligence of new debt investments, including senior loans, whole loans and development finance.  Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Matthieu had been analyst at LaSalle Investment. During his time with LaSalle, he worked on the Debt Investment and Special Situations team, specializing in the real estate sector. Matthieu holds a master's in management from Grenoble Ecole de Management.
