John Lippmann

John Lippmann is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. John is Managing Director, Head of U.S. Real Estate Capital Markets, responsible for the strategy and execution of asset and fund leverage for U.S. debt and equity real estate portfolios and supporting various strategic growth initiatives. He has worked in the industry since 1998. Prior to joining Barings, John served as Head of Structured Debt and as a Portfolio Manager in the real estate group at NYL Investors. Prior to that, he worked in real estate restructuring for FTI Consulting and in originations and portfolio management at Eurohypo AG. He began his career in the Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking group at JPMorganChase. John holds a BA degree from American University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
