Samantha Young

Samantha Young is a member of Barings’ Real Estate Investment business and is responsible for portfolio management at Barings Real Estate Australia. She was previously Head of Finance & Business Strategy for Barings Real Estate Australia. Samantha has worked in the property industry since 2003 with experience in funds management, structuring, fund finance and operations, tax, risk management and compliance. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Samantha was a finance manager at Valad Property Group, where she was responsible for accounting and finance for the listed stapled group. She began her career at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in the audit and assurance and business process outsourcing divisions. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance from Macquarie University, Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
