Senior Director, Private Equity Real Estate

Tamara Williams is a member of the Barings’ Real Estate Team, responsible for leading the firm's private equity business. The team manages the investment strategy and capital partnerships within a range of investee companies across diverse sectors, including retirement living, infrastructure and self-storage. She is also responsible for ensuring that the objectives of Barings’ investors and stakeholders are met across the private equity real estate portfolio.

Tamara has worked in the industry for over 25 years and has experience in real estate finance, investment banking, funds management and responsible investing. Before joining Barings in 2000, she worked for APN Funds Management / Dexus as a senior funds management executive and Investec Bank as joint head of Property Funds Management Australia. Earlier, she was a director at Westpac Institutional Bank within the property funds management team.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and was qualified as a chartered accountant. She is member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
