Mac Hunter, CFA

Mac Hunter is a member of Barings’ Insurance Business Development Group, responsible for covering life, health, property & casualty, and re-insurance relationships. He has worked in the industry since 2011. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mac worked at Dimensional Fund Advisors covering Insurance company investment platforms across separate account business lines, including sub-advisory, annuity, life, retirement and wealth. Before that, Mac served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs within the Insurance Asset Management business. Previously, he worked in US Wealth Advisory at BlackRock after starting his career at Coleman Research Group. Mac holds a B.A. in political science with a minor in Spanish from Davidson College and is a member of the CFA Institute.
