Leon Ernst

Leon Ernst is a member of Barings’ Emerging Markets Debt Group and a sovereign analyst for the Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt Team. Prior to joining the firm full-time in 2022, Leon was part of the Emerging Markets Debt Group’s summer internship programme in 2019. Before joining the team permanently, Leon worked as a Sovereign Credit Analyst for a fixed income asset manager in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to that, Leon completed various internships in the emerging markets debt area, among others at Greylock Capital Management, the OECD and Deutsche Bank. Leon holds a B.Sc. from ESCP Business School.
