Doug Koch

Doug Koch is a senior member of Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. Based in Chicago, he is responsible for originating, executing and monitoring private finance investments in the North American market. Doug has worked in the industry over 25 years, most recently for Principal Asset Management, where he focused on origination, execution, and fundraising, and worked to expand the platform’s network of sponsors and advisors to ensure high-quality deal flow.  Prior to that, he held senior roles in sponsor finance at Antares Capital, GE Capital and Heller Financial. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
