Trent Watkins

Trent Watkins serves as a Director, Development of Barings Real Estate Australia (formerly known as Altis Property Partners (Altis), which was acquired by Barings in 2022). Trent has over 20 years of experience in management, leasing, development and re-positioning of commercial, retail and industrial real estate as well as tenant advisory. His responsibilities include a variety of development and redevelopment activities across the commercial, retail, and industrial asset classes.

Prior to joining the firm, Trent was a senior portfolio manager for Macarthur Cook and an asset manager for Fortius Funds Management. Trent holds a Bachelor of Commerce in land economy and a graduate diploma in applied finance and investment from the University of Western Sydney and is a licensed real estate agent.
