Jeffrey Tse（ジェフリー・チェ）

Jeffrey Tse is the Head of APAC Multi-Asset at Barings, where he leads the regional multi-asset team and oversees portfolio strategy and management across APAC. He is accountable for strategic and tactical asset allocation, risk governance and the development of customized investment solutions for clients. Jeffrey is a voting member of the Investment Strategy Forum, Asset Class Research Group and Macroeconomic Research Group, and serves as Chair of the Equity Research Group. Prior to joining Barings in 2021, Jeffrey was a portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley for five years, managing global multi-asset and fixed income discretionary strategies and serving on the Discretionary Portfolio Approval Committee. His responsibilities included global equity and credit research, portfolio construction, risk oversight and duration strategy management. Earlier in his career, he worked in HSBC’s investment banking division, originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions across Asia ex-Japan. Jeffrey is a CFA charterholder and currently serves as Pillar Head of Macro, Markets and Investment at CFA Society Hong Kong. Jeffrey graduated with a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College London. Jeffrey is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
