Richard Goodeve-Ballard, CFA

Richard Goodeve-Ballard is a Client Portfolio Manager within Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. Richard is responsible for client management, product development and external communication of global private finance investments for EMEA clients. Richard has worked in the industry since 2014. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, he worked for Tesco Pension Investment (‘TPI’) as a fund manager focusing on researching and deploying capital into a wide array of asset classes within private markets (predominantly private credit, private equity and infrastructure). Before that, Richard worked at Aon on their manager research team where he focused on underwriting both private and public credit strategies. Richard has a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Southampton and is a member of the CFA Institute.
