Martin Rietsch

Martin Rietsch is a member of Barings’ Private Finance Group. He is a Managing Director on the Global Infrastructure Debt team and is responsible for originating, structuring and underwriting power, energy and infrastructure transactions. Martin has worked in the industry since 2006. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he worked for Crédit Agricole's Corporate and Investment Bank in a structured finance advisory role. Prior to Crédit Agricole, Martin worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland in various structuring, arranging and advisory roles in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Martin holds a B.B.A., M.B.A. and a doctorate degree in economic sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
