Maggie Sheng, CFA

Maggie Sheng is a member of Barings’ Hong Kong China Equities Team and co-manages a range of Hong Kong and China equity strategies, including Barings China A-Share Fund. Maggie has worked in the industry since 2015. She joined Barings in November 2016 from Bank of China International, where she was an Equity Research Associate covering the resources sector in Greater China. Before that, she worked in BP’s Global Acetyls Business Unit as a Performance & Planning Analyst. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Accounting from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Maggie is a member of the CFA Institute and is fluent in Mandarin.
