Doug Byrkit

Doug is a Managing Director in the Global Client Group with responsibility to develop strategic relationships with existing and prospective institutional clients. Doug has worked in the industry since 2004. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, he was Head of Distribution and Global Client Service at Matthews Asia. Prior to that, he spent nearly 13 years at Dimensional Fund Advisors, most recently as the Head of Institutional Americas where he led the institutional business in the Americas with a team of sales and client services professionals. Doug also served as Regional Director for Russell Investments, where he generated OCIO total portfolio investment management relationships with mid-market plan sponsors located in Southwest and Central states. He holds a BA in organizational studies from the University of California, Davis and carries FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 licenses.
