Alexander Vaulkhard, CFA

Alexander Vaulkhard is a Client Portfolio Manager in Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. Alex is responsible for client management, product development, and external communication of global private finance investments for our clients in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Barings, he worked at BlackRock for over 15 years, having started his career with the company in London in 2005. Most recently, Alex worked as a Director in the BlackRock Credit Product Strategy team in Singapore, supporting their credit platform in Asia ex-Japan. In this role, he was responsible for representing the global credit product teams (private credit and leveraged finance) to the Asian client base. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from University College London (UCL) and is a CFA Charterholder.
