Tom Wilson
Senior Director, Origination
Tom Wilson is a Senior Director in the Barings’ Real Estate Debt team, where he is responsible for originating, structuring and executing real estate development and investment debt transactions across the platform. Tom joined Barings in 2025 as the first Real Estate Debt team member in Melbourne. Prior to this, Tom worked at National Australia Bank for 16 years, developing a portfolio of capability across real estate finance, structured asset finance and funds finance. Tom commenced his career as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG. Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Certificate in Green and Sustainable Finance from the Chartered Banker Institute and was previously a member of the Chartered Accounting Institute of Australia and NZ.
