Managing Director & Co-Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Market Local Currency Strategy
Vasiliki Everett is a managing director and co-portfolio manager for the Emerging Market Local Currency strategy. She is also a member of Barings’ Global Sovereign Debt and Currencies Group. Additionally, she acts as the backup portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets Sovereign (hard currency) strategy.Vasiliki has worked in the industry since 1993, and her experience has encompassed emerging market fixed income investing, trading and analysis. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Vasiliki was at Acadian Asset Management where she headed the emerging market debt trading effort and was co-manager on the emerging market debt products. Before Acadian, she worked at Putnam Investments covering emerging market debt trading, portfolio construction and Andean sovereigns. Vasiliki holds a B.A. in economics and certificates in management and international relations from the University of Rochester.
