Barings Coronavirus Statement
Barings has taken proactive steps around COVID-19 to address the potential impacts on our people, clients, communities and everyone we come in contact with, directly or through our premises.
Having performed stress-testing on our systems and processes, Barings is operating a remote and flexible working model across the U.S, Europe, Asia and Australia, while maintaining service and responsiveness to partners and clients. Barings’ Cyber Security policies are applied consistently when working remotely or in the office.
Our Crisis Management Team and Return to the Office Task Force consisting of the Executive Leadership Team and other leaders across Barings ensures that we anticipate and prepare for all scenarios, including a seamless return to our offices. We continue to evaluate the situation based on World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local government updates and will take further measures as warranted.
We have been in continuous communication with our employees and have been maintaining client communications throughout this period as we continue to monitor the situation closely. Barings has pledged relief benefitting 34 organizations across 21 communities focused on essential needs and healthcare and patient support. Protecting our employees and supporting the communities in which we live and work is our top priority.
