Samantha Young

Samantha Young is a member of Barings’ Real Estate Investment business and is responsible for business strategy, finance and fund reporting and operations. She has worked in the property industry since 2003. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Samantha was a finance manager at Valad Property Group, where she was responsible for accounting and finance for the listed stapled group. She began her career at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in the audit and assurance and business process outsourcing divisions. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance from Macquarie University, Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
