Somit Guha
Senior Director, U.K./Nordics, European Private Credit
Somit Guha is a Senior Director on Barings Global Private Finance team. Based in London, he is focused on originating, executing and monitoring of European private finance investments. He has worked in the industry since 2011, most recently for Partners Group, where he was responsible for the sourcing, diligence, and execution of private debt financings in support of private equity-backed leveraged buy-outs across Europe. Prior to that, Somit worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at Wells Fargo in London and Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Land Economy and Management from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley.
