Elizabeth Weindruch
Head of Private Equity Solutions
Elizabeth (Liz) Weindruch is Head of Barings’ Private Equity Solutions team, serves on its Investment Committee, and is responsible for originating and underwriting fund, co-investment and secondary private equity opportunities. Liz has worked in the industry since 2004. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she led private investment strategy, diligence and implementation at the Wells Fargo Investment Institute, having previously held similar roles at Citi Private Bank and Brooke Private Equity Associates. Liz serves on the board of the Private Equity Women’s Investor Network (PEWIN), is a trustee and head of the investment committee for the Heifer Foundation and is also on the investment committee for the YWCA of the Carolinas. Liz has previously served on the investment committee for the Davidson College endowment. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in religion from Davidson College
