Barings Supports Xeinadin, a Portfolio Company of Exponent Private Equity

Barings announces its role as sole lender of secured credit facilities to Xeinadin Group (“Xeinadin”), a portfolio company of Exponent Private Equity (“Exponent”).

Exponent recently commenced its significant partnership with Xeinadin, one of the leading networks of business advisory and accountancy practices in the UK and Ireland. Across more than 100 locations, Xeinadin provides more than 40 service lines to a base of more than 50,000 clients, predominately small and medium sized businesses and their owner-managers.

Xeinadin has more than 1,500 employees across the UK and Ireland, and is one of the professional services market’s leading disruptors and consolidators, with annual revenues of over £100 million in its latest financial year.

The partnership with Exponent will support the Group’s ambitions to grow significantly, both organically and through acquisitions, and allow it to make further investments in innovative data-driven technologies to help drive efficiencies and improve the quality, breadth and delivery of services to its clients.

Barings acted as the sole lender to Xeinadin and Exponent, providing senior facilities across the capital structure as well as becoming an equity co-investor.

Joseph Buckley, Managing Director at Barings: “We are very pleased to support Exponent and the Xeinadin management team on this transaction. The Group is strategically positioned as a consolidator of choice in a highly fragmented market and we look forward to supporting the continued growth of the Group going forward.”

Dominic Clark, Principal at Exponent: “We look forward to working with the Xeinadin management team on this exciting opportunity. The professional services market in the UK and Ireland provides a unique consolidation opportunity and clear pathway for growth so partnering with Barings who could provide a highly flexible and bespoke financing package to support us on this journey was key.”
