Katie Moretti
Head of European Real Estate Debt Underwriting, Execution & Asset Management
Katie Moretti is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Katie is responsible for the underwriting and execution of European real estate debt investments. She has worked in the industry since 1998. Prior to joining the firm in 2021 Katie was a Director at Invesco Real Estate where she worked within their European Real Estate Debt team. Prior to Invesco Katie worked within the real estate finance teams at GAM and Renshaw Bay and in JP Morgan’s real estate structured finance business in EMEA where she was responsible for credit analysis of real estate loans and structuring and execution of CMBS transactions for their loan securitisation program. Before that she worked for Fitch Ratings and began her career as an asset manager at Celexa Real Estate Investment Management. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Bristol. She is a member of the Investment Property Forum and has completed the Investment Property Forum Diploma.
