Barings European High Yield Bond Fund

For sub-funds or schemes authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and not authorised by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, UK investors should note that the sub-fund is not covered by the UK Financial Ombudsman or the UK Financial Services Compensation scheme. UK Retail investors in the sub-fund have a right to access the alternative dispute resolution scheme in Ireland if they feel their complaint has not been dealt with to their satisfaction. However, UK investors will not have a right to access a compensation scheme in Ireland if either the Sub-Fund’s management company or the depositary should become unable to meet its liabilities to investors. Objective

The Barings European High Yield Bond Fund is an actively managed high yield bond strategy that seeks to provide high current income generation and, where appropriate, capital appreciation. The Fund will aim to achieve a total return in excess of the BofAML European Currency Non-Financial High Yield Constrained Index (the “Benchmark”).

Strategy

The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a diversified portfolio of high yield instruments issued by European corporations in any currency, or issued in European currency by corporations established outside Europe and/or listed or traded on recognized markets in Europe.

The value of investments and the income they provide can fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the amount originally invested. The Fund invests in high yield bonds. The value of these investments tends to be more volatile than investment grade bonds.
