Yulia Alekseeva, CFA

Yulia Alekseeva is a Managing Director in Barings’ Asset-Based Finance (ABF) group, leading ABF Product Strategy and Marketing and serving on the ABF Investment Committee. Previously, Yulia was Head of Consumer ABF & CMBS, Head Securitized Credit Research, a Portfolio Manager in the Investment Grade Fixed Income group and a voting member of the Multi-Asset Allocation Committee. Yulia has worked in the industry since 2005 across both buy-side and sell-side roles. Before joining Barings, Yulia was a Principal in the Structured Credit group at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, following positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Yulia holds an MBA with a triple major in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a B.A. in Economics and an M.Fin from the Russian Economic University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
