Philip Adkins

Philip Adkins is a member of the Barings Real Estate Team, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Philip is Head of Real Estate Debt Origination and is responsible for overseeing an experienced team of investment professionals responsible for the origination of a broad array of real estate loans ranging from permanent first mortgage loans, as well as bridge, structured, and construction financing. He has worked in the industry since 2007. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Philip worked for Cantor Fitzgerald within their real estate lending group, focusing on the origination of CMBS loans. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, he worked for Verona Capital Markets, a real estate capital intermediary headquartered in Century City, and Crown Realty and Development, focusing on buy-side analysis. Philip holds a B.S. in Real Estate Finance from the University of Mississippi.
