Marios Halloumis, CFA, FRM, CESGA

Marios Halloumis is the ESG Investment Integration Director – Public Assets on the Sustainability & ESG team, where he works with key stakeholders within the business to govern and enhance Barings investment teams’ ESG Integration practices. Before this, he was the Director of ESG Integration and Active Ownership for Barings’ Public Equities platform, where he coordinated, governed and enhanced its proprietary ESG Integration and Active Ownership practices. Prior to this, he served as an investment analyst for Emerging Equities—EMEA. Before this role, he served as a manager on the Performance Analysis Team. Marios has worked in the industry since 2006. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he worked for StatPro Plc as a Performance Consultant. Marios holds a BSc in economics and statistics from the University College London and an MSc in risk and stochastics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a certified Financial Risk Manager. In 2011, Marios was awarded the Investment Management Certificate, in 2020 the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and in 2022 the CFA UK Certificate in Climate and Investing. He is a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential Holder and an EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA).
