Beom Kim

Beom Kim is Head of Fixed Income, Korea and he is responsible for managing the Seoul-based fixed income investment team. He joined Barings (what was then known as SEI Asset Korea) in February 2004. His previous experience includes Head of Fixed Income at SK Investment Trust Management. Prior to that, he was with Daehan Investment Trust Management Company (now Hana-UBS Asset Management) where he worked as a fixed income manager and was head of the fixed income trading team. He has managed fixed income since 1993 and he became qualified as a Certified Investment Analyst in 1996. Beom earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Korea University and received an MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology majoring in financial engineering.
