Alay Patel, CFA

Alay Patel is a portfolio manager on the Barings’ Emerging Equities Team. Prior to this role, he was an investment analyst, focusing on company analysis in the EMEA and Global Frontiers region. Alay has worked in the industry since 2003. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he held equity research roles at Berenberg Bank, Jefferies International and Morgan Stanley. Alay holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is an ACA and CFA Charterholder. Alay is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.
