Adam Schauer
Portfolio Manager
Adam Schauer is a member of Barings’ U.S. High Yield Investments Group and is responsible for the portfolio management of various U.S., Global and ESG-focused strategies. Additionally, Adam has an active role leading the development of ESG investment capabilities for the Global High Yield team. Previously, Adam was the Head of Client Portfolio Management for the Global High Yield Investments Group and was responsible for new product development, marketing and servicing existing high yield strategies. Adam has worked in the industry since 2007. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Adam served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Edgeview Partners focusing on merger and acquisition advisory services across a broad range of industries. Adam holds a B.S.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in Finance.
