Paul Notaras serves as an Executive Director and Managing Director, Investment Management for Barings Real Estate Australia, formerly known as Altis Property Partners (“Altis”), which was acquired by Barings in 2022.
Paul is one of the founders of Altis and has over 36 years of experience in real estate investment, financing and funds management. His responsibilities include investment and portfolio management, with an emphasis on capital raising, investor relations, acquisitions, portfolio construction and structuring.
Prior to establishing Altis in 2008, Paul was the CEO of Funds Management at Valad Property Group, a Director and Principal of ICA Property Group, and a key executive in the establishment of GE Capital Real Estate in Australia, rising to the position of Managing Director for Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.
