Matthew McBride
Deputy Portfolio Manager, European Value Add
Matthew is a member of Barings Real Estate, a global real estate platform with extensive capabilities across both debt and equity strategies. Matthew is a Director and Deputy Portfolio Manager for the European closed-end Value Add Real Estate Fund series. He has 11 years of pan-European real estate investing experience across all major asset classes. Matthew joined Barings from Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for origination and asset management across Europe for both the opportunistic and core funds within MSREI. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Hines where he was responsible for acquisitions, development management and asset management with a focus on the living sectors. Matthew holds an MA in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge.
