Nick Pink, currently Head of Real Estate Portfolio Management Europe, will assume the role of Head of European Real Estate.

Nick has over 30 years of industry experience across the UK and EMEA and joined Barings in 2005 where his role has encompassed strategy, transactions, and portfolio management in both equity and debt markets.  He was previously with CBRE Investment Management (formerly known as CBRE Global Investors). 

Alongside his new role, Nick will maintain his existing responsibilities as Head of Real Estate Portfolio Management Europe and Chair of the European Investment Committees. He will report to David Mihalick, Head of Private Assets.

James Salmon, Head of Real Estate Asset Management Europe, will take on the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, European Real Estate in addition to his current role. James has more than 30 years industry experience and has held positions at Protego Real Estate Investors LLP, Aberdeen Property Investors and Capital and Regional plc.
