Sascha Specketer
Co-Head of U.K. & Europe, Global Client Group
Sascha Specketer leads the Global Client Group in the UK & Europe, overseeing client activities across geographies and markets. Sascha joined Barings in November 2024 and is based in Munich, Germany. He covers all of the firm’s products and capabilities, public and private fixed income, real assets and capital solutions, across institutional and wealth management and is an appointed director of Barings Switzerland Sàrl.
Sascha has over 18 years of experience across corporate finance, equity research, business development and sales. Prior to joining Barings, he held positions at Invesco, Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns and has worked most of his career in London. Over the last 7 years, Sascha led distribution in the DACH region for Invesco building out the private credit platform and the real estate business as well as integrating and expanding the synthetic ETF platform in EMEA. Sascha held additional responsibility for the Global Key Account Program in Wealth Management, developing C-Suite relationships and strategic dialog with clients.
Sascha holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in International Business from Leeds Business School in the UK and a master’s degree from Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Germany.
