Kristine Li is a member of is a member of Barings’ Emerging Markets Debt Group and a portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets Corporate Debt Team. Kristine is responsible for overseeing the emerging markets financial sector credits. Kristine has worked in the industry since 1996 and her experience has encompassed research and investing in emerging markets, fixed income and equities. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, she was a Senior Analyst at PIMCO in charge of the Asian financial sector. She played an important role in PIMCO’s global financial team and also contributed significantly to its emerging markets macro views, particularly on China. Previously, Kristine worked as a sell-side research analyst at RBS, CLSA, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. She graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the National University of Singapore.
