The Barings China A-Share Fund plc (RIAIF) was closed on 6 February 2020 and its assets merged in to Barings China A-Share Fund (UCITS) within Barings Investment Funds plc. The Fund’s previous track record with inception date as at 12 April 2010 has been continued.
The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve capital growth through investment in companies established or operating in the People’s Republic of China. The Fund is actively managed and will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 70% of its total assets in China A shares.
The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by identifying investment opportunities through a differentiated and innovative investment process using fundamental, bottom-up analysis.

The Fund is designed for investors seeking a strategy that targets long-term capital growth by investing primarily in onshore Chinese equities.
