Barings Supports Abry Partners in their Recapitalization of Anju Software
Mar 13, 2019
Barings, one of the world’s leading financial services firms, announced today that it has served as the Agent, Joint Lead Arranger and Bookrunner on a senior secured credit facility to support Abry Partners’ investment in Anju Software (Anju), an enterprise life sciences software platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Based in Phoenix, Anju provides an integrated platform spanning clinical, medical affairs and commercial operations, which is used by large and small pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations (“CROs”), full service agencies and medical device companies.
“Abry believes that connecting the data from molecule to retirement using actionable software will become an essential part of the life science ecosystem and Anju is well positioned to provide this connection. We are excited to partner with Anju to accelerate their efforts to become one of the premier global life sciences software and data platform,” said Tyler Wick, Partner at Abry Partners. “We were grateful to once again partner with Barings’ Global Private Finance team to ensure this deal’s success and look forward to working with them on future endeavors.”
Abry said its investment would provide capital for continued product enhancement and global expansion, and position Anju for market leadership in the life sciences software industry.
“It was great to work alongside Abry Partners as they added Anju Software to their outstanding software portfolio,” said L. Max McEwen, Managing Director for Barings Global Private Finance. “As life science companies increasingly rely on data for day-to-day operations, we believe Anju is well-positioned for future growth and are looking forward to supporting them on continued investment in product enhancements and expansions.”
