Steve Boehm

Steve Boehm is Barings’ Chief Operating Officer and a member of Barings’ Senior Leadership Team. He leads a global team dedicated to Barings’ digital transformation and service delivery, aligned to improving the client and teammate experience. His team focuses on data and insights, technology, client experience, and operations spanning all of the firm’s investment and corporate functions. He is a passionate practitioner of diversity and inclusion competencies, and is committed to building strong team cultures.

Steve has more than three decades of experience in technology-enabled businesses, financial services, global operations, digital payments and merger integration. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at AvidXchange, where he led the company’s transformation through a period of hypergrowth and business model evolution. Previously, Steve served for six years as Senior Vice President, Global Customer Experience at eBay. Earlier experience included career opportunities with First Data, Wells Fargo/Wachovia, and Visa.

Steve holds a B.B.A. from James Madison University and an M.B.A. from George Mason University.
