Aaron Gillespie

Aaron Gillespie is a senior member of Barings’ Global Private Finance Group. He is a Portfolio Manager, responsible for portfolio management for a number of Global Private Finance portfolios, including the Global Private Loan Funds, the global junior capital strategies and various global and regionally-focused separately managed accounts. He is a member of the Global Private Finance ESG Committee, and sits on the firm’s ESG Investment Integration Working Group. Aaron has worked in the industry since 2010. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Aaron worked for Wells Fargo in various middle market banking roles, including relationship management, credit underwriting and deal execution. In these roles, Aaron was primarily responsible for originating, underwriting, negotiating and monitoring loans to U.S. based middle-market companies. Aaron holds a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University.
