Barings China A-Share Fund

Objective

The principal investment objective is to achieve long-term capital growth through investing in companies established or operating in the Peoples Republic of China. To achieve the Company’s investment objective at least 70% of the Company’s assets will be invested in quoted or traded equity investment in A-Shares and other QFII Permitted Securities which will be listed on the PRC Stock Exchanges listed in Appendix II under “Recognised Exchanges” of this Prospectus, as permitted under the QFII Regulations.

Strategy

The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by identifying investment opportunities through a differentiated and innovative investment process using fundamental, bottom-up analysis.
