Barings Appoints Ulrich Cord as Head of Wealth Management & Family Offices Germany
Barings, one of the world’s leading alternative investment managers, today announced the appointment of Ulrich Cord as Head of Wealth Management & Family Offices Germany within its Global Client Group.
Based in Munich, Ulrich will be responsible for further developing Barings’ wealth business in Germany, with a particular focus on banks, family offices and wealth management clients. He will work closely with colleagues across Barings’ Global Client Group and investment teams to deepen client relationships, broaden access to the firm’s investment capabilities across public and private markets and support the continued growth of Barings’ wealth business in Germany.
His appointment reflects Barings’ continued commitment to expanding its presence in the German wealth market and supporting the firm’s broader strategic focus on growing its wealth business globally.
Ulrich brings more than 15 years of experience across wealth management and asset management distribution. He joins from Invesco, where he most recently served as Head of Wholesale & ETFs Germany, leading relationships with banks, family offices and intermediary clients.
