Elisabeth Perenick leads Barings’ Private Debt Group. She is a member of the group’s Private Placement Investment Committee and its Global Infrastructure Investment Committee. Elisabeth is responsible for the Private Debt Group’s process and procedures, credit oversight and portfolio management including the firm’s third party private debt activity. She also manages a number of the group’s key relationships and is also active in day to day investment analysis. Elisabeth has worked in the industry since 1993 and her experience has encompassed credit and deal underwriting across multiple industry sectors and transaction structures. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, she worked at Hartford Investment Management Company and at CIGNA Investment Management. Elisabeth holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University, is a member of the CFA Institute and a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries, and has served on the Board of the Private Placement Investors’ Association.
