Finley Birt

Finley Birt is a member of the Barings Investment Institute, covering macroeconomic research for the UK and Euro Area. Fin has just started working in the industry, having recently achieved his M.Phil. and B.A. degrees in Economics from the University of Cambridge. While at Cambridge, he spent 2 years as an Officer Cadet in the Royal Air Force Reserves, which involved meeting military leaders and understanding their views on geopolitical events of past and present. He also completed a summer internship in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
